It’s been a while since we’ve done an update. So, without further adieu, here it is!
A new show…
Thought that NOTSTRAIGHTnews disappeared after one show? Well, technically, you’re wrong and you’re also NOT wrong. The NOTSTRAIGHTcast episode that came out after the premiere of the new segment ended up running so long that we edited the NOTSTRAIGHTnews segment out of that show to get the episode down to a more reasonable length.
Being a victim of editing, and without room for it in the regular podcast, that led us to the idea of making NOTSTRAIGHTnews it’s own mini-podcast that we’ll release on the weeks that we don’t have a regular episode of NOTSTRAIGHTcast. This way, we can keep the regular NOTSTRAIGHTcast episodes to a manageable (and listenable) hour-long length, along with giving you more of the LGBTQ new that you crave.
You won’t need to do anything special to get NOTSTRAIGHTnews. You’ll get them in your regular feed along with episodes of NOTSTRAIGHTcast. This way, there will be something new every week!
A new schedule…
Starting with the release of NOTSTRAIGHTnews on Sunday, March 3rd, there is also a new overall release schedule. All new episodes that we produce of either show will be released on Sunday instead of Wednesday. Thus, there will be a new, episode of NOTSTRAIGHTcast next Sunday, followed by an episode of NOTSTRAIGHTnews the Sunday after that. And so on… so there will be a new way to start off your week right!

As we mentioned during the last show, there is now NOTSTRAIGHTcast, NOTSTRAIGHTnews, and NOTSTRAIGHTradio. We’re building a empire, or as we would put it, a NOTSTRAIGHTworld. Thus, NOTSTRAIGHTworld.com was born.
Basically, NOTSTRAIGHTworld.com is a portal to all the sites that we have. This way, everything is easily accessible from one place.
Just wait, there’s more!
Along with the new show, there have been many back-end changes. Without being too technical, we’ve moved the radio station to a more, reliable host. We also moved the web site to a new host, and updated the web site in the process, since the old site was about three years old. Everything is is still in the same place, but a lot of the old cruft has been cleaned out, so the new site should be much faster! Along with all that, we’ve also started hosting the RSS feed for the podcast feed ourselves.

We’re still working out a few tiny bugs, so let us know if you see something wrong or just let us know what you think about the new site, show, or if you just want to say hi!
